"When I work with clay, I am reminded of the simplicity of play. I thoroughly enjoy the creative process and appreciate how clay and glazes add interest in their own way. I believe letting go of perfection and molding each piece by hand creates a sacred beauty. Finding balance with shape, color and design, along with the simple element of earth, is therapeutic and essential for balance in my life. I love the thought that my work was once a lump of mud."
